Low density polyethylene
Low density polyethylene is a thermoplastic that belongs to the polyolefins class. It is produced by the polymerization reaction of ethylene in the autoclave or tubular reactor under conditions of high pressure about 260 MPa.
Low density polyethylene compositions – are not produced at the moment
The compounding process equipment available at the plant allows producing any compositions based on the low density polyethylene with filler content up to 40 wt%.
Polyethylene products – are not produced at the moment
LDPE application field is very diverse, from technical and agricultural goods, tare and packaging to household articles, dishware and toys for kids.
Products of organic synthesis
Acrylonitrile, colourless liquid, is produced as a result of the reaction of the oxidative ammonolysis of propylene. By-products produced in the process are acetonitrile and hydrocyanic acid which is used for acetone cyanohydrin production. Production effluents containing sulphates are directed to neutralization for production of ammonium sulphate.
Acrylic fibre
Currently the plant Polymir is the only manufacturer of acrylic fibre in the territory of the former USSR. Nitron-D fibre production process is based on the homophase copolymerization of acrylonitrile.
Gaseous and liquid pyrolysis products
Ethylene, propylene and hydrocarbon fractions are produced as a result of the thermal decomposition of the hydrocarbon feedstock with the following separation of received products through the low temperature rectification.
Textile Auxiliaries
Sorbitan S, Sorbital S-20 are used as finishes in production of fibre and fabrics.
